Zumba updates for the summer

Updates for ZUMBA classes this summer.
Tuesdays are now at Fred Astaire Dance Studios.  The time and day still remain the same.
Monday, July 5th—NO CLASS
Thursday, July 15th—NO CLASS
If you currently hold a ZUMBA with Sarah punch card, for a limited time, you can bring the punch card in to Fred Astaire Studios for my Tuesday class, and take a class for $6 instead of $10. (its an extra charge, they won’t get the card punched)  This is through the summer.

Zumba summer weight loss contest

Message from Zumba!
Summer is right around the corner, so now is the time to get ready!!!!
We are going to have a contest to see who can lose the most inches and weight in the next 3 months.
If you would like to participate, please email me what you want to focus on, weight or inches.
Then, if you would like to focus on weight loss, please weigh yourself, and send me the amount you weigh now.
If you are focusing on losing inches, measure around your waist (right above your hip bone).
Measure the width around your thighs, and around your bbuttocks
**This is a private matter.  I will not share any information with anyone.  ***

After the measurements are sent, it is up to you, to make it work.  You push yourself every class, just a little bit more.  You know what is best for yourself.  Make it work.  Shake those hips, bring up the intensity just a little bit more, do whatever it takes to make it all come off!!!!
We will start the contest on March 29th and will weigh in on June 21st (the first day of summer).  That is just a little over 12 weeks.

There will be three prizes awarded:
One for Most Weight Lost
One For Most Inches Lost
One for most overall lost

The prizes awarded will be gift certificates from Studio 21 Salon and Spa.  Please visit their website at http://www.studio21.com.

Summer Dance Camp at Steppin’ Time

Summer Dance Camp!
August 3-13
Steppin Time is holding another summer dance camp August 3-13.
Students can come 2-4 days a week and try a variety of different classes including Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Ballet, Tap and Jazz. This is a perfect way for kids to try something new and find out what they’re interested in!
Have a little drama queen or king at home? They can participate in Annie, Jr! Musical Theatre classes will be learning a portion of the show to be presented in November 2009.  It’s very exciting to be part of something so big and will give the kids a great sense of accomplishment to put on a show like this!
Registration will continue until classes are full!

Kids Eat Free at Minute Maid Park!

Astros fans,
Bring out the family to Minute Maid Park for fun-filled activities all weekend long!
On Saturday, all kids 14 & under will receive a free pass to the Houston Zoo! This coupon is good for one free kid’s admission with a paid adult admission during the month of August.
